He has earned national recognition for his innovative approach to employee wellness and the commitment to care coordination among providers and healthcare resources./p>
Alex Hutchinson has spent his career is various positions revolving around health care management services. His past experience includes Blue Cross Blue Shield of Connecticut, Corporate Health Strategies, Value Health Management and EDS Healthcare. In his role at RPM Health, he provides purchaser, payer and provider clients with business-based solutions to manage the cost and risk of purchasing or providing healthcare services. Clients include Fortune 500 corporations, state agencies, insurance companies/managed care organizations, large provider systems/organizations. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brown University and a Masters of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business and Sloan Program of Hospital and Health Services Administration.
Valerie Barney started her career in Human Resources before receiving her law degree. She currently serves as the Deputy General Counsel, Employment and Litigation at Mohawk Industries. Prior to joining Mohawk she was Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Zep, Inc. a major provider or maintenance and cleaning solutions. As chief legal officer there, she gained experience with due diligence on mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, international intellectual property, environmental issues and product regulatory concerns. Valerie spent several years as an associate in an Atlanta law firm focusing on labor and employment law. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Administration degree and Juris Doctor Degree from Georgia State University.
Kim Johns currently works as the Sr. Director of Employee Benefits at Mohawk Industries. Johns has balanced planning and executing strategic initiatives with driving the tactical approaches necessary to deliver measurable results. Throughout her career as a Benefits leader, she has developed expertise in plan design and enhancement; vendor management; cost containment strategies; on-site health provider programs; and helping plan members become better educated health care consumers. Prior to joining Mohawk in 2005, Johns worked in benefits or benefits consulting with Neiman, Tenet Health Systems, Aetna and Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Baylor University.
John Quinilvan spent 20 years in the United States Army serving at a variety of duty stations across the country and around the world. John joined HCA upon his retirement from the Army in 2003 and has worked at hospitals in Florida and Atlanta prior to being named CEO of Redmond Regional Medical Center in 2010. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Health Administration Degree from Baylor University. John is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Karen Steely serves at the COO for AdventHealth Gordon and Murray,. Karen has been with AdventHealth Gordon for more than 20 years. Steely has worked at AdventHealth Gordon for 20 years, most recently serving as administrator of AdventHealth Murray and vice president of AdventHealth Gordon. Among her other responsibilities, Steely manages the EMS teams at both locations. She has also served as director of inpatient services with oversight of intensive care unit (ICU), progressive care unit (PCU), medical-surgical, cardiopulmonary services, and wound care. A Dove Leadership Award and Heart of Nursing Award recipient, Steely holds a Master of Science in Health Systems Leadership from the University of West Georgia.
Kenna Stock currently works as Chief Executive Office for Harbin Clinic, a role she has been in since 2015. She joined Harbin in 1999 as the business office director, she served as the Chief Operations Officer from 2001-2013 and became Harbin Clinic's Executive Director in 2014.
David McCreery is a principal of and consultant with Medical Business Concepts with 41 years’ experience in healthcare consulting. David consults with independent medical practices in the areas of operational efficiency, human resources, compensation planning and finance. David also serves as Executive Director of Physicians’ Health Services, an Independent Practice Association in Dalton, Georgia.
In addition, David is the Executive Director of Georgia Health Select, a Clinical Integration Network of approximately 180 physicians and Hamilton Medical Center. Georgia Health Select is jointly owned by Physicians’ Health Services and Hamilton Medical Center.
David holds a B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University and is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant.
Dr. Roger DeVersa started his career as a nurse and holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Middle Tennessee State University. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Dr. DeVersa completed his residency program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Medicine. He has served in roles as a staff hospitalist and primary care physician. He currently serves as a physician advisor to the Revenue Integrity Department at Erlanger Health System, as well as continuing to serve the community as a primary care provider.
